This varies from patient to patient. Your treatment plan will be tailored to suit you as an individual to ensure a speedy and thorough recovery. It will be outlined to you on your first visit to the clinic.
No, anyone can come to our clinic as we are primary contact practitioners.
We are recognised by the majority of private health insurers and cash plans. Most insurers will cover you for your chiropractic treatment.
You must however check with your insurance company beforehand to find out if your treatment will be covered. We will provide you with an invoice to claim back the cost of your treatment.
You don’t need to bring anything specific with you and you can wear your normal everyday clothes.
Chiropractic is a non-invasive therapy and is very safe when performed by a registered chiropractor. Your chiropractor will take a medical history and give you a thorough examination to assess what your specific needs are and what the best treatment plan will be for you. The chiropractor will only adjust you if it is appropriate to do so. Generally, chiropractic adjustments do not hurt, however there may be a moment of mild discomfort following an adjustment as the muscles start to relax. There should be no cause for concern.
Not all patients require imaging. If X-rays or MRIs are needed, we will refer you to the correct facility.
On your first visit, a thorough history is taken when you tell us about your complaint as well as your medical history. This is followed by a physical examination. After that, we will diagnose and explain your condition and how we can help you. In the majority of cases, patients are treated on their first visit to the clinic. Read more
All chiropractors practicing in the UK must be registered with the GCC (General Chiropractic Council) to call themselves a Chiropractor.
